What does Fathers Day mean to you? For most it may be gratitude towards their dad, remembering great childhood memories, and many other things may come to mind.

For me, I had two dads. My father and my Grandpa. Both were/ are extremely conservative men, with a huge love for God! Both have served different purposes in my life and for that I am grateful. Below I will explain these differences, but I promise to keep it brief :D

My grandpa taught me how to hunt, fish, and work! His work ethic and desire to make things a little better inspired me to do the same. To this day I am looking for the good in other things. How can I enhance something and increase its worth? I can generally find something to make it a little better, than I found it.

My Dad, a School Counselor/ Wal-Mart employee. Both of these jobs required my dad to be extremely outgoing and put in long hours! And he did! We don't see too many strangers in our small town! Watching his personality and the way he handles people, has truly empowered me to do the same. For this I am thankful!

When you look back and reflect on your dad, think about your own personal qualities.

-How many are similar to your dad's?

- What are you doing to instill good qualities in your children? Oh and don't forget your grandchildren may be watching too!

-What will your legacy be? (What will your kids say they learned from you?)

I took sometime on my way to see Dad today, to listen to some songs regarding dad's. It was enlightening to listen to the artist as they sang about their fathers!
